Are your trips safe?

Safety is our number one priority, and we are extremely proud of our excellent safety record.

How will my trip be organized?

When we organize trips, we take care of all of the logistics for you, so that you can focus on enjoying the trip.  We’ve never done the exact same trip twice.  The trips are completely personalized.  We are happy to assist with anything from suggested lesson plans to making flyers to promote the trip.

How much do the trips cost?

It depends on the itinerary.  We can usually adjust the itinerary to make the trip work within your budget.  We’ve done trips for as little as $550 per person to as much as $4,000 per person.

Do I (the teacher/organizer) have to pay?

No, the cost of you and one other chaperone of your choice is included.

How will the trip be paid for?

Different schools and organizations have different approaches.  Some schools include trips as a part of tuition.  Some have parents pay directly.  We provide needs-based scholarships.  Also, teachers have worked with students on fundraising campaigns.  The fundraising campaigns really help to give students a sense of ownership of the trip.  We’ve assisted with fundraising in the past, and we’re happy to help put together a plan to make the trip happen.

What time of year can I do a trip?

Most school trips occur during winter, spring, or summer break, but any time of year is possible.  Certain trips have limited time frames.  For example, you can’t hike the Inca trail during the rainy season.

Who do you work with?

We do many trips without the use of subcontractors, but for certain trips, we work with teams of expert guides.  For example, we use an experienced local safari company when visiting the Serengeti, and PADI-certified divemasters when we go scuba-diving in Thailand.

Do you have references?

Please see testimonials from past participants.  If you would like to talk on the phone with some of our references, we are happy to put you in touch with former students, parents, and teachers from past trips.  Contact us for more information.
